St. Francois County Sunday Crash

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Pilot Knob man, 28-year-old Kaitlin J. Kelley, is recovering from surious injuries after he was involved in a crash with a pickup Sunday morning just after 1 a.m. in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, reports show the truck was being driven west on Route DD, east of H Highway by 23-year-old Alex D. Burgdorf of Pilot Knob, when it ran off the left side of the road and rolled over. Kelley who was a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington for treatment. Burgdorf was not hurt.

Two additional passengers in the truck, 25-year-old Austin H. Dutton and 27-year-old Amanda T. Hanson, both of Pilot Knob, received minor injuries and were also taken to Parkland Health Center.

No one was wearing a seat belt when the crash took place.
