St. Francois County Tuesday Wreck

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A Bonne Terre woman, 24-year-old Alena M. Parks, is recovering from serious injuries after being involved in a one vehicle crash in St. Francois County Tuesday night just after 11:30 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate Parks was driving south on Old Bonne Terre Road, south of Wildwood Acres Drive, when her SUV ran off the right side of the road. It rolled over and crashed into several trees.

Parks, who was not wearing a seat belt during the wreck, was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
