St. Francois County Wreck Serious Injuries

(St. Francois County, MO.) A Desloge woman, 44 year old Kelly L. Farkas, and a woman from Farmington, 89 year old Edna C. Arnold, are recovering from serious injuries after they were both involved involved in a two car head on crash just before 8:45 Sunday morning in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol reports show Farkas lost control of her car as she was driving north on Flat River Road, north of Town and Country Trailer Park. She drove over the centerline and smashed head on into Arnold's car. Farkas was flown to Mercy Hospital St. Louis and Arnold was flown to Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Arnold was wearing her seat belt when the wreck took place while Farkas was not wearing hers.
