Teen Struck by Car in Park Hills

(Park HIlls, MO) A 17 year old girl is facing charges of assault and leaving the scene of an accident after a 15 year old girl was struck by a car in front of the swimming pool in Park Hills Wednesday afternoon about 4 o'clock.  Park Hills Police Chief, Richard McFarland, says there was a verbal altercation between the two that resulted in the injuries. The driver left the scene and the 15 year old was airlifted to a St. Louis Hospital. Reports also show the 17 year old driver turned herself over to police a short time after leaving the accident.
