Park Hills, Mo. (KFMO) - A fourth-alarm fire in Park Hills on Wednesday morning resulted in the total loss of two homes.
Firefighters were called to the 500 block of Sixth Street around 7:30 a.m. to combat the blaze. Fortunately, no one was inside either home at the time of the fire, although emergency responders did have to rescue a dog from one of the residences. The Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office is currently investigating the cause of the fire.
Multiple fire departments, including Big River, DeSoto, Desloge, Farmington, Festus, and Jefferson R-7, assisted the Park Hills Fire Department in battling the flames.
