Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Authorities are pursuing suspects in a brutal armed robbery and assault that occurred on December 13, 2024, in the Holiday Shores area. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence after receiving reports of an armed robbery.

Deputies found the victim lying in the living room, bleeding and suffering from multiple broken bones and lacerations. According to investigators, three masked individuals posing as federal agents entered the home, assaulted the victim with a club-like weapon, shot at him with a handgun, and broke his leg to prevent him from resisting.

The suspects fled the scene with an estimated $15,000 to $20,000 in cash. Evidence recovered near the scene included a piece of duct tape used to obscure the suspects’ license plate, which helped law enforcement identify one of the suspects.
