Three Teens Injured in St. Francois County Crash

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A 16-year-old male juvenile from Festus, a 17-year-old male juvenile from High Ridge, and a Festus teenager, 18-year-old Ava  E. Croft, are recovering from injuries they received in an accident involving a UTV Wednesday morning in St. Francois County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show the crash took place at 12:25 am on Office Road, south of Bookholtz Road. Croft was driving the UTV south when it ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree throwing all three of the teens out of the vehicle.

The 16-year-old and 17-year-old juveniles were taken to Children's Hospital in St. Louis while Croft was transported to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.

None of the teens were wearing a safety device when the crash took place.
