Iron Co., Mo. (KFMO) - An 83-year-old Ironton man, Minuard B. Abney, is recovering from serious injuries after he was involved in a one vehicle crash with a diesel truck he was driving in Iron County Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Abney was headed west on Highway 32, 8 miles west of Bixby, when the truck ran off the right side of the road and rolled over.
Abney, who was not wearing a seat belt during the crash, was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis.
