Two Counties Ambulance Contract

(Reynolds County, MO) Washington County Ambulance Services is entering into a contract with the Reynolds County Ambulance Board to provide services to Reynolds County residents beginning Sunday, July 31st. The effort is being made to keep 24 hour emergency service going in Reynolds County. The contract has not been signed yet and is expected to be modified before the 31st. According to a post on the Reynolds County Courthouse Facebook page Reynolds County Ambulance Board members expect a smooth transition ahead with newly appointed director Justin Duncan. Reynolds County Ambulance current staff will have the choice of staying with the county. They would be under the direction of Washington County officials after the transition. Because of financial restraints there will be one ambulance operating at this time yet the system's 24 hour coverage will go uninterrupted.
