Two Injured in Ste. Genevieve County Wreck

(Ste. Genevieve County, MO.) Two people are recovering from moderate injuries after they were involved in a one vehicle wreck in Ste. Genevieve County Monday afternoon just before 4 o'clock. According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol a man from Imperial, 43 year old Jaso O. Carver, was driving an S.U.V. south on Interstate 55 at 163 mile marker when he lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the left side of the road, slammed into the cable barriers and then ran off the right side of the highway and smashed into an embankment and then a tree. Carver and his passenger, 42 year old Mikia L. Asbridge, were both taken to Mercy Hospital Jefferson. They were both wearing their seat belts when the accident took place.
