Unofficial August Election Results

(St. Francois County, MO) St. Francois County voters will be protected by more sheriff's deputies after the Proposition P for Safety passed in Tuesday's August Primary elections. The issue won with 54% of the vote. The election also featured four contested St. Francois County government offices including the Associate Circuit Judgeship for the 24th Circuit, Division 4. Incumbent candidate Pat King retained his position with voters approved retaining him in office with nearly 70% of the vote. For St. Francois County Prosecuting Attorney the win goes to challenger Blake Dudley who came away in a close race with 4005 votes to incumbent candidate Melissa Gilliam's 3545. In the race for Circuit Clerk, Kristina Bone takes the position over Elaine Easter and for St. Francois Township Committeeman Chuck Dodson came out on top with 46% of the vote while Ben Bradley held 33% and Kyle Smith showed almost 20% of the votes cast.
