Washington County Accident Serious Injuries

(Washington County, MO.) Two people from St. Louis, 58 year old Jeffrey P. Douglas, and 45 year old Lisa M. Mowry, are recovering from serious injuries they received in a one vehicle accident in Washington County Monday afternoon. Highway Patrol records show Douglas was driving his pick up truck north on Dug Out Road, south of Arrowhead Road, when he lost control of the vehicle and it ran off the right side of the road. Douglas overcorrected and the truck ran off the left side of the road and smashed into a tree. Neither Douglas nor Mowry was wearing their seat belt when the accident took place. They were both taken to mercy Hospital South in St. Louis.
