Washington County Fatal Crash

(Washington County, MO) A Blackwell man, 45 year old Robert W. Wilkinson, is dead after a traffic crash in Washington County Tuesday. Reports from Troopers with the Highway Patrol show the wreck took place at 5:30 pm as 73 year old Michael E. Huskey, of Sullivan, was driving a pick up south on Highway 47, south of Cold Creek Road. A car driven by 36 year old Tabatha M. Farris, of Fenton, was parked on the southbound right shoulder of the highway. Wilkinson had parked his SUV on the northbound right shoulder of Highway 47, across from Farris'. Wilkinson left his headlights on bright, got out of his vehicle, and was standing in the roadway next to Farris' car. Huskey's truck crashed into the rear of Farris' car and then struck Wilkinson killing him. Huskey and Farris were not injured.
