Washington County Sunday Accident

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - A man from Mineral Point, 61-year-old Jewell E. Wehrheim, is recovering from serious injuries after he was involved in a one car crash in Washington County Sunday afternoon just before 3 p.m.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show Wehrheim was driving south on Highway 21, at Brown Hollow Road. The car ran off the right side of the highway, smashed into a tree, and rolled over.

Wehrheim was taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis. He was wearing a seat belt during the crash.
