Wear a Life Vest When Boating

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Officials with the Missouri State Highway Patrol remind you to always wear a life vest when boating on our waterways.

Highway Patrol Corporal Dallas Thompson says a life vest can save your life when an emergency occurs on the water.

Thompson explains statistics show over 90% of those who die in the water were not using a life vest or flotation device.
