West County Schools Sidewalk Extension

(Leadwood, MO) St. Francois County Commissioners are looking into a transportation grant that would help the county extend sidewalks within the West County School district in Leadwood. Presiding Commissioner Harold Gallaher, says the sidewalks would connect the district's three main buildings.

According to Gallaher the funds would come from a matching grant and they aren't yet sure of the percentage required from the county. Commissioners approved looking into the grant application at the Tuesday weekly meeting of the St. Francois County Commission.
