Winter Storm Warning Update

(St. Francois County, MO) A Winter Storm Warning is set to go into effect at Noon today, lasting until Midnight tomorrow. Meteorologists with the National Weather Service say total daytime snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch is possible in the Parkland. Thursday new ice accumulations of less than a 0.1 of an inch are possible and new sleet accumulations of less than a half inch could take place. Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick. You are urged to limit unnecessary travel, and to use extreme caution if you must venture out.
