Arthur E. Pope, 89, of Park Hills, Mo. passed away December 15, 2014 at Southbrook Nursing Center in Farmington.
He was born on August 22, 1935 in Marquand, Mo. to his parents, the late Joseph Wesley Pope and Celia ‘Combs’ Pope. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Andrew Pope, and by his wife, Wanda ‘Hampton’ Pope.
He is survived by one son, James “Pete” Eugene Pope and wife Vicki of Park Hills, Mo.,
One sister, Dorothy McDaniel and husband Dave of Texas,
Also survived by other relatives and friends.
He was a member of Doe Run Church of God.
A private service was planned.
Arrangements were with the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home in Park Hills, Mo.
