Betty Beatrice Bowling Eugas was born September 2, 1933 in Perry County Missouri, the daughter of Terry and Juanita (Mullins) Bowling and passed away on June 19, 2024 in Perryville, Missouri at the age of 90 years.
Betty met and fell in love with her wonderful husband William “Bill” Eugas whom she married on October 27, 1951 at the Lutheran Church in Yount, Missouri. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2023 after 71 years of marriage.
They were blessed with 2 children Brad and Banessa and granddaughter Beth.
She is survived by her daughter Banessa (David) Miesner, granddaughter Beth Miesner, sister Viola King, brothers Don (Elly) Bowling, Jay (Bonnie) Bowling and sister-in-law Joyce Myers. Also, several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Betty was also preceded in death by her son Bradford William Eugas. Betty has waited for 50 years for the glad reunion day, to once again be reunited with Brad. She is now smiling and walking the streets of gold, with both Brad and Bill. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers Delmar Bowling, Ted Bowling, sister Norma Capone and father and mother-in-law.
Betty was raised in a wonderful Christian home. Her dad was minister, so she grew up walking to Church rain or shine for many services and revivals as a family. Loved to sing with her parents and siblings and playing piano for many Church services.
She was a homemaker, helped with many tasks on the farm, took pleasure in making wedding floral bouquets, bridal gowns and decorating cakes for all occasions. Also was a member of Calvary Church. Loved to travel across the United States and camping with her husband Bill and making special memories with her granddaughter, Beth.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024 from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. at Calvary Church in Fredericktown.
