Donald Lee “Heavy” White was born September 23, 1942 in Mine La Motte, Missouri the son of Lamer and Lorine L. “Jackie” (Tinsley) White and passed away on June 21, 2024 at the home of his son, Donald and Patricia White who was lovingly at his side.
Donald was 81 years at the time of his death
Donald was preceded in death by his wife Shirley (Campbell) White who he married on September 5, 1964 at Timber Ridge Church, his parents, son Ronald White an infant brother Leroy White.
Heavy is survived by 2 sons Donald (Patricia) White and Mike (Michelle) White. Siblings Lawrence (Shirley) White, Donna (Donald) Thomas, Billy Joe (Mary) White, Vernon (Michelle) White and Cheryl (Dennis) Bays. Also, 1 granddaughter Katlin White. He also left behind the love of his live, Bella his dog
Donald was of the Pentecostal Faith.
Heavy served in the United States Air Force from February 1961 to February 1965, he enjoyed spending time with family, being outside, sitting on the porch watching birds. Hanging out with his granddaughter, joking around and loved all sports.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 26 from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m. at Follis & Sons Chapel. Interment will be held at Redford Memorial Cemetery in Redford, Mo.
