Duaine Lee Francis, of Farmington, entered eternal rest on June 7, 2024, at his home at the age of 73. He was born on March 12, 1951, in Bonne Terre, Missouri, to Lee Lamar and Ella (Elders) Francis.
Duaine is survived by his father, Lee Lamar Francis of Farmington, his son, Aaron Lee Francis of Farmington, his cousins, Ken (Lisa) Sales, John Sales, Christina Sales, Kaytlen Sales, Darin Tidwell, Josh Tidwell, Steve Francis, Monte Francis, Brian Albough, and Larry Francis, his aunt, Charlotte Tidwell, his uncle and aunt, Ray and Sharon Elders, along with many other cousins and family members and friends.
Duaine is preceded in death by his mother, Ella Francis and his sister, Patricia Francis.
Duaine was a United States Navy veteran and proudly served his country in Vietnam. He worked as the storekeeper for the Missouri Department of Corrections for many years. He was the Past Master of the Farmington Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, and was a talented musician who played the guitar, mandolin, and keyboard. Duaine will be remembered as being a wonderful father to his only child, Aaron.
Per his request, no formal services will be held. He will be laid to rest alongside his mother and sister at Parkview Cemetery.
