It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Joseph Lyles, a beloved father, proud grandfather, and cherished brother. He was born on Monday, January 10, 1955, to the late William R. and Willie M. (Campbell) Lyles. Joseph's journey on this earth came to a gentle close on Wednesday, September 25, 2024.
Along with his parents he is proceeded in death by his brother, Kevin Lyles.
Joseph's legacy of love and kindness will forever be carried on by his son, DeAndre Motley, daughter-in-law Casey Motley, daughter Brittani Motley, granddaughters Marissa Motley, Nevaeh Motley and grandson, Mason Motley. He also leaves behind his siblings; brothers, Robert Lyles, Rodney Lyles, Fred Lyles, and sisters, Valerie (Lyles) Lambert and Loretta Toliver, along many nieces, nephews, family and friends who will always hold his memory close to their hearts.
Known for his genuine nature and contagious smile, Joseph's presence brought light and warmth to all those around him. His passion for classic Disney movies and soulful tunes. While Joseph may have departed this world, the love and memories he shared will live on in the hearts of all those who knew and loved him dearly. May we find comfort in each other's embrace and solace in the memories we hold of a truly remarkable man.
