Judith Ann (Johnson) Smith, of Farmington, passed away on July 2, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 81. Judy was born on December 18, 1942, in Farmington to James G. and Virginia (Ransom) Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David M. Smith, and her brothers, Jimmy Dale Johnson and Thomas Walter Johnson.
Judy is survived by her husband, Linden “Bruce” Smith, her daughter, Tracy Michelle Smith, her son, Rick L. Key, her sisters, Donna Davis and Linda Knefelkamp, her brothers, David (Alice) Johnson and Barry (Jeanne) Johnson, three grandsons, Taylor, Cody, and Jack, her great granddaughter, Carolina, along with many other family members and friends.
Judy worked as a legal secretary and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross for many years. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, and was a talented artist. Judy was a force of nature and there will never be another like her! She is loved and will be missed by many.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 5, 2024, from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Cozean Memorial Chapel officiated by Pastor Racquel Tomacruz. Interment to follow at St. Francois Memorial Park.
