Piney Wakefield of Park Hills passed away on December 16, 2024 at the age of 82.
She was born in Mineral Point MO on October 1, 1942 to the late Dee and Della Jarvis.
She was untied in marriage to Bud Wakefield on December 17, 1966.
She was a member of the Bismarck Freewill Baptist Church.
Piney is survived by her children Judy Wakefield , Rita Milsaps, Sonny (Brenda) Wakefield, Tim (Penny) Wakefield, Kelly (Bobby) Thompson, Joann (David) Todd, Earlene (Joe) Buxton;

She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her. She always welcomed everyone in her home and treated everyone like family. Her table was always full as well as her heart. She worked in the log woods with her father growing up. After she married, she took care of her family and taught of us how to hunt, fish, cook, and work on cars. There was nothing she could do.
Visitation Saturday December 21, 2024 from 5:30 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Horton-Wampler Funeral Home 1 Federal Park Ave., Park Hills, MO 63601.
Visitation will resume Sunday December 22, 2024 from 11:00 A.M. to time of service at 1:00 P.M. at Horton-Wampler Funeral Home.
Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Leadington, MO.
