Richard Schroeder was born on January 23, 1955, in Bonne Terre, Missouri to the late Victor and Mary (Phillips) Schroeder. Richard was a hard worker, a loving father and grandfather and was a loving husband. He enjoyed fishing, and being outdoors, having barbeques, and was a father figure to many people, and loved spending time with friends and family. Richard passed away on August 18, 2024, at the age of 69. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen Schroeder and his son in-law Devon Matlock.
Richard is survived by:
Daughters: Jamie Schroeder and Jessica Johnston and husband Keven
Brothers: George Hoffman and Johnny Schroeder
Sisters: Sue Schroeder and Katie Schroeder
Grandchildren: Ava Matlock, MJ Matlock, Braelynn Matlock, and Betty Johnston, and one on the way.
Many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, friends and family also survive.
A private service by family will be held at a later date. Coplin Funeral Home of Park Hills, Missouri in charge of arrangements.
