Hendrickson New Director of Missouri Division of State Parks

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - Missouri Department of Natural Resources officials are announcing Laura Hendrickson is accepting the role of director for the Division of State Parks.

Hendrickson, currently serving as the interim division director, also served as a deputy division director since 2021. Prior to that, she was the director of the Ozarks Region for Missouri State Parks. In th role she managed 25 state parks and historic sites, eight concession operations, and the South Construction Unit.

In addition, she has 17 years of experience as a park superintendent at Prairie State Park, the Capital Complex, Pomme de Terre State Park, and the South Central Management Unit.

Hendrickson assumes the role effective immediately.
