Too Flat to Fly

Republic, Mo. (KFMO) - You know, when you've overstuffed yourself at dinner and are having a hard time moving around.

Wildlife officials in Missouri found a bald eagle on the ground and thought it was injured because it wasn't flying. They took it for X-rays at Dickerson Park Zoo and it turns out the bird had just eaten an entire raccoon.

In a Facebook post, the Wilson's Creek National Battlefield said the bird was just too fat to fly.
