2023 Missouri Legislative Veto Session

(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri legislators will convene the 2023 veto session Wednesday in Jefferson City. The State Representative for the 116th district, Dale Wright, says one of the Governor's vetoes involved the loss of sewer system work for the city of Bismarck.

Wright adds the Governor's vetoes took 555.3 million dollars out of the proposed budget. The 2024 Missouri state budget is at 51.8 billion.
