3 Vehicle Wreck with Minor Injuries

(Jefferson Cuonty, MO) Two people are recovering from injuries they received in a three vehicle wreck in Jefferson County Saturday afternoon just before 3 o'clock. According to reports from the Highway Patrol a pick up was being driven south on Highway 67, at Donover Drive, by 52 year old Mark Trimble of Cahokia, Illinois. Trimble faild to yield to traffic while making a left turn and his truck crahsed into the front of a an SUV being driven north by 37 year old Raoul D. Watkins of St. Louis. The impact caused Watkins' vehicle to go out of control and crash into a car driven north by 54 year old Richard R, Young of DeSoto. Watkins and a passenger in his vehicle, 34 year old Jessica D. Wyatt Watkins, also of St. Louis, were both transported to Mercy Hospital Jefferson with minor injuries. The accident caused traffic to be backed up on Highway 67 south of the I55 Cloverleaf for a time.
