(Farmington, MO) An Endangered Person Advisory for a 6 year old has been cancelled.
According to the Farmington Police Department, on Monday, April 15, officers with the department were dispatched to Saint Francis Medical Center, in Farmington, in reference to a disturbance. Authorities say that a parent was refusing medical treatment for their 6 year old son, identified as Oliver "Patrick" Sulwer. Upon arriving at the medical facility, officers discovered the parent had already left on foot with the child. It was reported the parents left the facility against medical advice.
A search of the area was conducted with negative results. An adjacent county sheriff's department was requested to attempt contact with this family at their residence to check on the well-being of the child. An attempt was made with negative results.
An entry was made in MULES/NCIC (Missouri Uniform Law Enforcement System and National Crime Information Center) as an Endangered person for the child. 38 year old Joshua Sulwer, the boys father, was listed as a possible suspect.
It was reported around 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16 that members of the FBI had located the child near Collinsville, IL, along with his parents, and a grandparent. The 6-year-old child was transported to a medical facility by ambulance for treatment. Authorities say that the investigation continues.
