Ambulance Crash in St. Francois County

(Bonne Terre, MO) A man who's a St. Francois County EMT from Park Hills, 52 year old Terry Leach, and two of his colleagues, are suffering injuries after an ambulance crash took place Friday afternoon just before 4 o'clock. It happened in Bonne Terre and Highway Patrol reports show the ambulance was on an emergency run headed east on Highway 47, at the intersection with Raider Road. The front of a pick up driven north by 68 year old Angeila L. Barton of Bonne Terre, struck the right side of the ambulance. It rolled over and crashed into a van driven west by 58 year old Monica L. Nelson of Bonne Terre. Leach received moderate injuries. The driver of the ambulance, 28 year old EMT Machaela C. Patt of Farmington, and another EMT who was a passenger, 30 year old Felicia M. Hedrick of Desloge, received minor injuries. Leach, Patt, and Hedrick were all taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington. They were all wearing their safety devices when the crash took place.
