(Jefferson City, MO) Missouri Public Service Commission officials are approving a filing made by Union Electric Company, d/b/a Ameren Missouri, to adjust the fuel adjustment clause, or FAC charge, on the bills of its electric customers. For a residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt hours of electricity a month, the FAC will decrease by approximately $2.17 a month, from a current FAC of approximately $5.26 a month to an FAC of approximately $3.09 a month. The change will take effect on October 1, 2023.
