Authorities Continue Search for Missing Woman

(Jefferson Co., MO) Authorities in Jefferson County are continuing their search for a woman that has been missing for nearly a month.

According to a social media post, last week, by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, 33 year old Emily Strite has been missing since April 2. She was reported missing on April 20. On Monday, Jefferson County authorities announced, detectives have learned Strite was last seen on the morning of April 12 in the DeSoto area. They said that she was on foot and believed to have been leaving the area of her own free will. Strite is described as a white female, 5'5", and 127 lbs.
