Banks Sentenced to Prison Time

(Doe Run, MO) A man from Doe Run, 50 year old Jackie William Banks, is facing prison time after being sentenced on charges of delivery of a controlled substance, felony manufacture of a controlled substance, and felony possession of a controlled substance. According to reports authorities received information in May that Banks was manufacturing and selling methamphetamine at his residence in Doe Run. When confronted by officers with the Mineral Area Drug Task Force, Banks allegedly confessed to selling and cooking the meth. After a search of the home officers found several items used in the making of meth. Banks has convictions in several other drug and theft related cases.
