Belleview R-3 Schools Cancel Classes Due to Illness Outbreak

Belleview, Mo. (KFMO) - The Belleview R-3 School District has announced the cancellation of classes from Tuesday, February 4, through Friday, February 7, due to a high number of illnesses affecting students and staff.

District officials say the decision was made to prioritize the health and well-being of the school community as cases of flu and other illnesses continue to rise. The closure will allow time for thorough cleaning and sanitization of school facilities.

Classes are scheduled to resume on Monday, February 10. Parents and guardians are encouraged to monitor their children’s health and follow recommended precautions to prevent the spread of illness.
