Bismarck Pipe Line in Veto Session

Bismarck, Mo. (KFMO) - Building a natural gas pipeline from Desloge to Bismarck is critical for two new Trap Rock plants planned for the Parkland.

State Representative for the 116th District, Dale Wright, says they hope to keep funding for the project in the state budget as the legislative veto session approaches.

According to Wright, Bismarck would own the pipeline and collect sales tax from it, along with the county and state. Wright says he's been visiting Governor Mike Parson's office for talks on keeping the project's funding in the state's budget.

The Missouri Legislative Veto Session is set for September 11, 2024.
