Blunt on Economic Pain During Holidays

(Washington, DC) This Thanksgiving Missouri families are feeling bitter economic pain due to skyrocketing prices for everything from food to fuel to goods and services. Missouri United States Senator, Roy Blunt, says even Obama administration economists are warning against the risk of higher inflation due to continued excessive government spending.

Some inflation projections have gasoline going up 46%, food 15% to 20%, and home heating costs are projected in many places to go up somewhere between 50% and 100%. Blunt explains even if you got a little bit of a raise at work, that raise is immediately taken away by just the basic fundamental things you have to have.
