Body Found in Ditch at Potosi

(Washington County, MO) An investigation is underway into the identity of a body found lying in a ditch near the area of Highway 8 and Pearl Road in Washington County Monday. A press release from Potosi Police Chief, Michael Gum, indicates having arrived on scene they found a deceased male lying in the ditch. Gum adds that's all the information they can release now since this is an ongoing investigation. The case is being handled by members of the Potosi Police Department, Washington County Sheriff's Office, the Washington County Coroner.
