Bonne Terre Mayor Resigning

Bonne Terre Mayor Brandon Hubbard announced his formal resignation as mayor at Wednesday’s Bonne Terre Chamber Member Luncheon. Hubbard explained that he and his wife Stephanie have sold their home within the city limits and that has rendered him ineligible to continue to serve the city as he has for the past 6 years.

Hubbard feels the city is on a strong path toward the future.

When asked about what he felt were his biggest contributions to the city during his term in office, Hubbard divided it between two issues, taxes and pay raises.

Hubbard says that they will not be leaving the area, but building a dream home outside the city limits, a plan that was moved up a couple years.
