Bonne Terre Property Tax Spurs Growth

(Bonne Terre, MO) The Bonne Terre property tax, enacted by voters, is bringing growth to the city. The City Administrator for Bonne Terre, Shawn Kay, says at this week's council meeting the storm water drainage project was discussed. Kay adds the matching grant, that's helping pay for the project, is one thing the property tax is helping pay for.

Kay says he also told council members at the meeting the next community development block grant they're working on is for city street work.
