Bonne Terre TAP Grants Improve Infrastructure

Bonne Terre, Mo. (KFMO) - Bonne Terre citizens will see new sidewalks and lighting throughout the downtown district.

City Administrator of Bonne Terre, Shawn Kay, explains the money is coming from a Transportation Alternative Program grant.

The improvements will be in the area of Long Street to Division Street on West School Street.

Kay adds the project may take a little time to complete due to the time of year the information was submitted to the Missouri Department of Transportation.

The project could be awarded in March.
