Bow Hunting Near Farmington Airport

(Farmington, MO) Members of the Farmington Parks and Recreation are allowing bow hunters to hunt neer the Farmington Airport at Enlgar Park to help pilots land during active deer season. The Executive Director of the Farmington Parks and Recreation Department, Doug Stotler, says officials at the airport were seeing an increase in the deer population that may cause problems with planes trying to land.

Stotler adds the program is in its 4th year and hunters are having great success with it.
