Carroll Talks Domestic Violence Month

(Desloge, MO) Desloge Chamber of Commerce members know more about October as Domestic Violence Month after this week's chamber luncheon. The Assistant Director and a CaseManager for the Southeast Missouri Family Violence Council, Tracy Carroll, told the crowd in order to curb domestic violence we need to have frank discussions with our children.

Carroll also said the council will continue their visits to schools and make other efforts to educate everyone on domestic violence. In other business at the meeting Dustin Kopp was sworn in for the Desloge Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
