Chase Ends in Bonne Terre

(Bonne Terre, MO) One individual is in custody following a high speed chase that began in Jefferson County and ended in Bonne Terre the evening of the 4th of July. Not many details are known yet reports indicate the chase began around the Festus area with the Highway Patrol following the suspect south on Highway 67 into St. Francois County. The vehicle exited the highway at Bonne Terre and, with the help of Bonne Terre Police officers, was eventually stopped at about 9:30 in the parking lot of the Centenary United Methodist Church on Park Avenue in Bonne Terre. The 18 year old driver was arrested and two juveniles in the vehicle were released. Stay tuned to KFMO B104 News for more details as they become available from the Highway Patrol.
