Construction Set to Begin on Missouri Route 8 Bridge Over Union Pacific Railroad

Washington Co., Mo. (KFMO) - Construction is scheduled to begin this week on the Missouri Route 8 bridge over the Union Pacific Railroad near Potosi in Washington County.

S & A Equipment & Builders, in partnership with the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), will start the bridge rehabilitation project today (Monday, March 3). During construction, one lane of the bridge will remain open with temporary traffic signals directing vehicles.

The project is expected to be completed by September 2025.
