Crews Battle Blaze in Iron Mountain Lake

Iron Mountain Lake, Mo. (KFMO) - Fire crews battled an early morning blaze in Iron Mountain Lake Wednesday.

According to the Bismarck Fire Protection District, at 1:56 a.m., the department was dispatched to a structural fire in the 500 block of Louisiana Drive in the Iron Mountain Lake Community by St. Francois County 911. St. Francois County Sheriff's Department Deputies arrived ahead of fire crews to a fully involved structure. Crews began to battle the blaze and were able to quickly knock down the fire.

Bismarck units were assisted by the Leadwood Fire Protection District, Farmington Fire Department, Pilot Knob Fire Protection District, and Leadington Fire Department. The St. Francois County Ambulance District responded as well.

The Missouri State Fire Marshal's Office was contacted and responded to the scene to investigate the fire. If any residents have any information involving this fire, the department asks that you contact the Missouri State Fire Marshals Office.

No injuries were reported.
