Dam Situation Serious at Iron Mountain Lake

Iron Mountain Lake, Mo. (KFMO) - With more rain expected today St. Francois County Emergency Officials are watching the Iron Mountain Lake dam closely.

Water topped over the dam after Monday's excessive rainfall and St. Francois County Sheriff, Dan Bullock, says the integrity of the dam has been a concern for many years.

Bullock adds low water bridges, and other crossings in the county, have been experiencing problems and more flooding could occur today.
