De Soto Man Killed in Overnight Motorcycle Crash Near Olympian Village

Olympian Village, Mo. (KFMO) - A De Soto man was killed in a motorcycle crash Wednesday morning, near Olympian Village.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that the accident occurred around midnight on southbound State Road CC near Marathon Road. Authorities say 46-year-old Darrick G. Stotler was riding a 2016 Kawasaki Ninja 650 when he lost control and was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the crash report, Stotler was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
