Desloge Crash Injures 14 Year Old

(Desloge, MO) A 14 year old male juvenile is suffering serious injuries after a one vehicle crash in Desloge Monday night. According to Desloge Police Chief, Jebo Bullock, officers were called out at 10:17 to the intersection of Highly Lane and Hawthorne Street for a one vehicle accident. Officers discovered the driver was a 20 year old female who had been driving the wrong way on Highly Lane which is a one way street. The vehicle had failed to stop at the intersection and ran across Hawthorne crashing into a group of trees. The driver has been arrested for DWI. The 14 year old male passenger was flown to St. Louis Children's Hospital. Chief Bullock explains the name of the juvenile won't be released because of his age and the driver's name is being withheld pending the filing of formal charges against her.
