DeSoto Man Wanted for Driving SUV Into Neighbor’s Home

DeSoto, Mo. (KFMO)- A DeSoto man faces multiple felony charges and a warrant for his arrest after allegedly driving an SUV into a neighbor’s home last summer, injuring three people.

According to a probable cause statement from the DeSoto Police Department, the incident occurred in the early hours of June 26, 2024, on Donna Drive. Police say the driver, Mark S. Wilson, made a troubling phone call to the landlord the day before the crash, stating the house would have to be vacated.

Wilson allegedly drove the SUV through the home’s living room, causing over $13,000 in damages. The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has charged him with three counts of first-degree assault, one count of first-degree property damage, and four counts of armed criminal action. Court records indicate Wilson also has an active warrant in Jefferson County for unlawful use of a weapon. He is not currently in custody.

Authorities are urging anyone with information on Wilson’s whereabouts to contact the DeSoto Police Department or local law enforcement.
